To serve departments of government, FAW New Energy Vehicle Company, a subsidiary of FAW Group, handed over 78 Besturn B50 plug-in hybrids (PHEV) to Changchun municipal government as official cars on May 28.

FAW New Energy Vehicle Company keeps the improvement of performance of Besturn B50 PHEV in high safety standard, and establishment of a special testing system that includes 87 items of complete vehicle test projects in 18 areas pertaining product safety, reliability, and commodity.

Powered by a dual-motors hybrid system, the fuel consumption of the Besturn B50 PHEV can be lower down to 3.2 liter per 100 kilometers, and the top speed of which be up to 140 km/h.
